The Major Gifts coordinator will contribute significantly to the financial sustainability of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Fort Worth through the development and retention of strong relationships and giving patterns of key strategic constituents. This position will require initiative, creativity, and attention to detail, flexibility, and consistent priority-setting. This position ill provide support to the President in all aspects of major gifts, including prospect research, donor cultivation, alumni relationships, and proposal preparation. The Major Gifts coordinator will be responsible for major gift tracking and reporting, donor acknowledgement, data entry, and integrity, and assistance with special events as needed. Candidates must possess excellent communication skills, both oral and written, professional manner and appearance, including strong social skills. Experience with all MS Office programs, and 1-2 years' work experience, preferably in a non-profit environment. Knowledge of Raiser's Edge software a plug. Upward Bound is a pre-college program that serves low income and potential first generation college students. The Project Advisor is responsible for providing direct project services to assigned participants. The Advisor will assist with recruitment, selection, assessment, supervision and year-end evaluation of all project participants; monitors participants' academic progress and provides academic advising and career information. Candidate should have a good working knowledge of the college enrollment and financial aid process. Candidate must possess a Bachelor degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Education, or related field. Candidate must have at least 2 years experience with at-risk youth. Must be detailed orientated, organized, and a self starter. Experience and/or knowledge in college admission process, FAFSA and financial aid process. Bachelor degree required. Must have strong verbal, writing, and communication skills. Must have reliable transportation, liability insurance, and possess a valid Texas driver's license for operation of a motor vehicle relevant to the performance of duties and must be at least 21 years of age to be covered under the Boys & Girls Club vehicle insurance. The Health and P.E. Director is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and supervising the athletic and physical education program. The Health & PE Director must plan, organize, and implement the health and physical education program striving to coordinate its activities into the total Branch program. The candidate should be able to promote and stimulate interest and participation in the health and physical education program and will be responsible for the care and maintenance of the health and physical education department, equipment, and facilities. The director will recruit, orient and train volunteers, supervise and direct staff assigned to the Health & P.E. department. The Assistant Health & P.E. Director is responsible to the Health & P.E. The Cultural Enrichment Director is responsible for promotion, instruction, and supervising activities conducted in the Cultural Enrichment Department. Candidates must have a high school diploma or equipvalent with at least 2 years experience dealing with disadvantaged youth. Candidates should possess a degree of expertise in one or more arts & crafts media and a practical working knowledge and appreciation in the general field of arts & crafts.
